The new CSW 1050 EVO is coming to the market: the professional sweeper by Comet ideal for cleaning sheds, warehouses and industrial buildings
Very easy to handle and effective, it does not neglect operator’s comfort.
Before discovering all its features, however, let’s recall how a sweeper works and what benefits can be obtained from using this outstanding professional cleaning tool.
A floor sweeper is one of the absolute best tools for professional floor cleaning, ideal for the quick and effortless removal of dust and debris from any type of flooring, whether indoors or outdoors.
Easy to use, the sweeper is the perfect machine to clean up, in no time, even the largest surfaces. Effective for removing dust, soil and coarse debris from floors made from various materials: concrete, asphalt, resilient or plastic materials.
Therefore, it finds wide use in any area: from school buildings, health care facilities, shopping malls, warehouses, industries, public buildings, to larger areas such as ports, airports and roads.
Unlike traditional methods, the professional sweeper can achieve perfect cleaning in just one go and in a while, avoiding multiple passes over the same spot. Broom and dustpan, on the other hand, take several minutes to operate on even a few square meters, forcing one to repeat the tedious routine dozens of times: sweeping, picking up dirt, emptying into the bucket.
In addition, while the manual cleaning lifts and disperses large amounts of dust, the sweeper ensures thorough cleaning without any residue.
What makes the sweeper very effective is its ability to remove both the finest dust and the coarsest debris from any surface in a short amount of time and without requiring any effort from the operator handling it.
A plus made possible by the combined action of brushes and vacuum cleaners. Let’s see, then, how this tool is structured.
A professional sweeper is mainly composed of 5 groups of components that operate in combination with each other:
The basis of operation, therefore, is a mechanical-suction cleaning system given by the combined action of the sweeping system and the vacuum system.
The sweeping system, in fact, consists of two side brushes (made of natural or synthetic fiber, or mixed with steel) that rotate over the floor and convey dirt to a roller brush located in the central part of the sweeper.
Still at the center is the vacuum system: a suction fan which, thanks to a turbine, causes a vacuum in the waste container and “sucks” the dust and debris conveyed by the brushes.
The filtering system, then, through filters of various materials (cartridge, bag or panel filters) separates the dirt from the air: the former goes into the waste receptacle, while the latter is discharged into the cleaned environment.
Finally, the manually, mechanically or hydraulically-operated emptying system releases the collected dirt for disposal.
The kind of motor is one of the criteria for distinguishing the different types of sweepers. Internal combustion engines (gasoline or diesel) allow more power but, because of their exhaust, limit the sweeper’s use to outdoors environments. Battery-powered electric motor sweepers, on the other hand, are ideal for indoor use: quieter and emission-free, they are perfect for indoor cleaning.
The main distinction, however, is dictated by the way sweepers are operated:
The new CSW 1050 EVO sweeper made by Comet falls into the category of ride-on sweepers.
Among the main details, in fact, those devoted to the operator’s comfort who is accommodated and transported by this new model stand out. Such as, for example, a new ergonomically shaped seat and a new control panel with equally advanced ergonomics.
Special attention has also been paid to the frame: made of durable steel and equipped with a main brush pressure adjustment and quick release mechanism. Complementing the series of pluses is the side brush lift control system located on both sides.
A very maneuverable and effective sweeper, designed to achieve optimal results on all types of surfaces.
Powered by a 1560 W electric motor, it is very suitable on medium and large areas of warehouses and small sheds, both in the logistics and industrial sectors.
