In environments that require **frequent floor cleaning**, whether indoors or outdoors, it is essential to use machines that do the job in a **short time, leaving the surface clean and immediately dry**. This is true, for example, in a [warehouse](https://blog.comet-spa.com/cleaning-en/warehouse-cleaning-vacuum-cleaners-sweepers-scrubber-dryers-valuable-allies), a [shopping mall](https://blog.comet-spa.com/cleaning-en/cleaning-shopping-malls-discover-secrets-floor-care) or logistics centers ### [FIND OUT HOW A PROFESSIONAL SWEEPER WORKS](https://blog.comet-spa.com/cleaning-en/the-professional-sweeper-clean-floors-in-just-one-sweep) These areas, in fact, have very extensive flooring and, at the same time, are easy to get dirty due to the high transit of people, goods and vehicles: these factors produce dirt consisting in **dust, small debris and coarse waste**. For these reasons, these areas need to be quickly cleaned as frequently as they get dirty to leave the passageway clear and effectively to avoid damage, accidents and wasted time. Compared with traditional brooms, dustpans, buckets and mops, the sweeper and floor scrubber dryer dramatically reduce time and exponentially multiply effectiveness. But they accomplish one operation each (either cleaning or washing), one at a time, also doubling all related costs. ### [FIND OUT HOW A FLOOR SCRUBBER DRYER WORKS](https://blog.comet-spa.com/cleaning-en/how-to-ensure-the-hygiene-of-floors-with-a-scrubber-dryer) [![Down Load the Free Guide | Floor Care](https://hubspot-no-cache-eu1-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/default/5415755/98e8f159-2589-4e89-a50c-b1f7880a77d3.png)](https://hubspot-cta-redirect-eu1-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/redirect/5415755/98e8f159-2589-4e89-a50c-b1f7880a77d3) The evolution of the individual pluses is the **combo floor scrubber dryer** which sweeps, washes and dries in one go. Just one single machine, ideal for many premises - from warehouses to shopping malls, stations to airports – a true novelty, not included in the range of all cleaning machine manufacturers. Comet offers the **CRS 85 Evotech** sweeping scrubber dryer among its excellences on the market as of January 2023. ![Vista duotech 08.13.50](https://blog.comet-spa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Vista%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg?width=805&height=440&name=Vista%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg) ## **CRS 85 EVOTECH: THREE MACHINES IN ONE** The **CRS 85 Evotech** is a **scrubber dryer with a sweeping system** which offers the huge advantage of achieving the results produced by 2 machines - sweeping and scrubbing - with just one. It is, basically, a **3-in-1** machine, **sweeping, washing and drying** in just one motion. This is also why it can be called a **sweeping scrubber dryer**. The CRS 85 Evotech can remove dust, small solid waste such as pallet shavings, plastic and litter, while washing the floor. By doing so, the cleaning task is done in **half the time** and, consequently, with **half the costs** that would be spent with a scrubber dryer and a sweeper separately. [![Scarica la Guida | Pompe a membrana: Installazione Diagnostica e Risoluzione dei Problemi](https://hubspot-no-cache-eu1-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/default/5415755/9c53fe6c-11f7-47fa-a993-29bdf0e133c4.png)](https://hubspot-cta-redirect-eu1-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/cta/redirect/5415755/9c53fe6c-11f7-47fa-a993-29bdf0e133c4) ## **LET'S SEE HOW COMET'S CRS 85 EVOTECH SWEEPING SCRUBBER DRYER WORKS** Thanks to the counterclockwise action of a **cylindrical brush with adjustable pressure**, dust and debris are collected during the floor washing phase. Washing, in turn, occurs with a **solution sprayed** **evenly by the variable delivery nozzles** placed near a special **washing roller**. ![spazzola duotech 08.13.50](https://blog.comet-spa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/spazzola%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg?width=805&height=713&name=spazzola%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg) A **patented Air Recovery system** using compressed air channels the cleaning solution in front of the brush, preventing its lateral leakage and minimizing the amount of solution. Unlike competing machines on the market, in fact, **Comet's CRS Evotech uses 500 to 1500 milliliters of cleaning solution per minute**, compared to an average amount of 1500 to 4500 milliliters. The real core of the CRS Evotech is the collection, suction and washing solution system. As it moves, the machine sucks up dirt, debris and washing solution in one go, collecting it all in a compartment and, subsequently, conveying it to a specific collection container. No fear of having to empty the machine frequently: the **CRS Evotech debris recovery tank**, as well as being easy to pull out, in fact contains up to 30 liters of waste. ![vano raccolta duotech 08.13.50](https://blog.comet-spa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/vano%20raccolta%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg?width=805&height=536&name=vano%20raccolta%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg) The thin film of water remaining on the ground is immediately and completely removed by the **sturdy** steel **squeegee system** and sucked up by a second motor, while the automatic operation of the squeegee and side brushes **dries to perfection even in the tightest of turns**. Finally, the exhaust air from the two suction motors is conveyed and blown through **dedicated side diffusers**. ![squeegee duotech 08.13.50](https://blog.comet-spa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/squeegee%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg?width=805&height=656&name=squeegee%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg) All functions are managed by the operator with a control panel, organized in a simple and intuitive manner, which communicates various data: working hours, battery charge level, empty tank warning light and forward/reverse traction indicator. The following controls are available: - speed regulation - central brush pressure regulation - automatic height regulation of the floor squeegee for drying - detergent dosing system - horn Driving is easy even in the tightest of spaces, such as hallways, thanks to its **turning radius of only 860 millimeters** and **compact dimensions** like those of a man-behind scrubber dryer. ![volante duotech 08.13.50](https://blog.comet-spa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/volante%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg?width=805&height=591&name=volante%20duotech%2008.13.50.jpg) Thanks to the self-leveling central brush, the Evotech is **also suitable for uneven surfaces**. It can cover a **sweeping area of up to 106 centimeters**, thanks to the large diameter of the side brushes. The Active system for automatic retracting, both on impact and cornering, allows perfect collection of all material. Finally, Comet’s CRS 85 Evotech also promises excellent performance in terms of efficiency - thus developing maximum power only when needed - and long working time on routine cleaning - with a **battery lasting up to 4 hours** - with reduced operating and maintenance costs.
